I have a huge announcement. We at True Grit Jiu Jitsu have formed an affiliation with Six Blades Jiu Jitsu International who are based in Austin, Texas. The lead Instructor and owner of Six Blades is IBJJF Hall of fame athlete, 7 X World Champion, 2 X World No Gi champion, 2 X ADCC Champion, Xande Ribeiro!
We will be stocking True Grit/Six Blades Fuji Gi's moving forward which will be available for purchase at the Academy. This includes Kids and Adult Gi. However, there is also no expectation that existing students purchase new Gi. Of course, if they would like to then they can, but it is not compulsory.
There will be packs of 2 Six Blades patches, a back patch and a front lapel patch. These will need to be purchased and placed on the Gi. Each pack is around $20 and will be available from the academy in Moorabbin from early December 2022.
Sensei Xande will also be visiting the academy in Moorabbin for a Seminar as well as to celebrate our official affiliation. Tickets for this event are available from EventBrite and can be purchased via the link below:
