I am very pleased to announce that we at True Grit Jiu Jitsu/Six Blades Jiu Jitsu Melbourne have our first affiliate club! Bushido Flow Grappling Arts in Devonport, Tasmania! BFGA is owned and run by Matthew Hull-Styles a newly minted Black Belt under Coach Dan.
Matt has been training for more than a decade and was p[reviously under a former team mate and friend of Coach Dan, Andrew Bailey (CAZA Jiu Jitsu Caloundra, QLD). Matt was promoted by Dan but did all of the work under Bail's.
We are incredibly proud to be a club that other clubs aspire to be a part of and look forward to working with Matt and his crew to pass on the Six Blades knowledge which will help Matt and BFGA build the club and thrive! The benefits of affiliation are already being felt as Matt's club numbers haver surged since our Social Media announcement!
Dan held a series of seminars at BFGA for the team and an open seminar for all associations. Both of these sessions were well received with great friendships being forged! Dan will be visiting Devonport again, this coming weekend the 5th of August to help Matt celebrate the 12 month Anniversary of Bushido Flow! So if you're in the NE of Tasmania, get along and visit!
