Xande's visit was also a special time for one of our True Grit team. Our No Gi coach, Jon See was promoted to Black Belt by Dan in the presence of one of his idols in Xande! An amazing experience for all of us, but especially for Jon. A moment I am sure he will never forget.
Jon is a fantastic student and an even better person. I could not be happier for him or more proud for him to become the first Black Belt that Dan has promoted. Jon is now the first True Grit Black Belt in Australia as well as the first Black Belt to be awarded by a Six Blades club in Australia. I big milestone and an achievement to be very proud of.
